A quill
An inkpot
Deep indigo ink
Reflecting the author's mind
Flowers and creepers he sees
Mesmerized by the beauty
Deeper he looks
Scattered pieces of a broken glass
A puzzle to be solved
He sees his characters
Glimpses of them
Not fully revealed yet
His protagonist looks up at him
Silently narrating her story
Introducing him to the other characters
He sees himself flying between them
Trying to peep into their souls
He sees his own
Reflected by the ink...
